Successful IT and data center industry organizational leader joins innovative and expanding U.S.-based data center firm

Server Farm Realty, LLC (Serverfarm), the global expert in data center real estate and operations, has appointed Arun Shenoy to head its Sales division. He joins from Schneider Electric where he was Vice President of the IT and Data Center business in the UK & Ireland. Shenoy has also worked for major companies including Intel, ABB, IBM and Romonet in general management, sales and marketing roles with over 20 years in software, services and technology markets.

In his new role Arun Shenoy is responsible for developing the success of Serverfarm’s data center colocation and InCommand Services business globally. Serverfarm is known as a comprehensive data center company that manages all things physical for their customers. They provide real estate expertise, colocation services and complete data center management through their InCommand Services. The company has recently expanded into the European market with the acquisition of an 8MW data center located in Feltham, London, UK. The data center gives Serverfarm customers a strategic entry point into the vital UK data center market.
Prior to Schneider Electric, Shenoy worked at ABB, where he served as Head of Data Center Automation in Europe. He is a founder of two technology and management start-ups, spent two years at Romonet and fourteen years at Intel, serving as the Director of EMEA Enterprise overseeing a period of rapid growth. During his time at Intel he was involved in several internally-funded start-up ventures including data center hosting, content delivery network services, video conferencing, PC-attached toys and MP3 players.
