Shahar Vaks joined Serverfarm in 2023 as Director of Finance and was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in 2025, responsible for leading the company’s global accounting function. In his executive roles, Shahar provides strategic and operational direction, overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance across all regions. He works closely with senior leadership to align the company’s accounting strategy with long-term business goals and evolving regulatory standards.
Shahar leads the global accounting & finance teams, driving performance through effective management, policy development, and resource allocation. He plays a key role in defining global financial frameworks, implementing robust internal controls, and steering high-impact initiatives.
Before joining Serverfarm, Shahar was a Senior Manager at EY, working in both New York and Israel. He brings deep expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and global financial regulations. He is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
